Job Duties

  • Coordinating all accounting functions and programs.
  • Performing monthly balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position/budget variance analyses
  • Preparing projects revenues projections and forecasting expenditure.
  • Assisting with preparing and monitoring budgets for review by management
  • Assisting with annual audit preparations.
  • Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non-compliance.
  • Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.
  • Reconciling timecards hours against budgeting
  • Performing other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned.
  • Assessing internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years accounting experience.
  • Knowledge of government, SBIR contracts.
  • Be able to handle auditing.
  • Excellent in communication verbally and written
  • Able to work under pressure and in fast paced environment​.
  • Must have BS – Accounting degree. Master’s degree, CPA certification or MBA is preferrable.
  • US Citizen or US Permanent Resident and fully vaccinated from COVID-19, due to government contract requirements.
