Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Senior Research Scientist with a Ph D in chemistry, chemical engineering, or related fields, equipped with 2 years of industrial experience Proficient in leading research investigations, designing and executing experiments, and proposing solutions to address technological gaps Skilled in collaborative production scaling, technical documentation, and proposal development Possesses excellent communication skills and adept at managing multiple tasks within a team based environment Eligible candidates require US Citizenship or US permanent residency due to government contract requirements.

Job Duties

  • Lead the investigation for the formulation of novel materials for gas separation/capture.
  • Be able to design and conduct experiments to assess the novel materials, analyze data, and innovate for improved performance. Address technology gaps by critically analyzing and proposing solutions.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to scale up production, and oversee routine quality control testing and studies with academic and industry partners. Prepare technical documents, including publications, patents, SOPs, technical reports and other relevant documentation.
  • Propose novel ideas and prepare compelling proposals

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in chemistry, chemical engineering, material science, or a related field with 0 2 years of postgraduate experience, preferably in an industrial context.
  • Experience in the development of polymeric and/or composite materials
  • Familiarity with engineering concepts, including mass/heat transfer and hydrodynamics
  • Direct involvement in membrane and polymeric material characterization techniques would be advantageous.
  • Proficient in developing and maintaining a detailed project plan and managing multiple tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team based environment.
  • US Citizen or US Permanent Resident due to government contract requirements
